Was/is there a webiste that sells them cheap?, would like to get a pair to get feet dry and possibly warm but don`t want to die of shock at price of postage.

That's the problem! You find a good cheap pair but need to pay £10/£20 postage to get them over here! Best bet would be to do a search on Google under 'cheap hunter wellies'

Have you tried www.holmesteadsaddlery.com??? They might have them reasonably cheap, and I think postage is only about €8

I have Lowther wellies, are brilliant are still going strong even though walking through the deepest mud and wearing them to work at the yard every week and there £15!

Ooh yes - muck boots are sooo toasty - much warmer than my hunters. You can ride in the Tyne (I think?) ones too.

Oh, if you're wanting warmth then I'm not sure you want hunters. I also had some for years but wouldn't swap you a pair for my Muck Boots now.

I got my OH a pair of the Argyll Hunter wellies at Christmas - £16.99 in TKMaxx - he was pleased with them. Much better than his cheapo Dunlops (which were probably a similar price!)

I got my Hunter wellies lasy winter from ebay, they cost £32 and £10 postage, but i must say they are worth every penny as the amount of cheap wellies i was having to buy every 3 months was getting silly.

Sounds like I have a winner with the Muck Boots, I`m assuming you can ride in the Muck Boot "Tack" ones?. All I`ll have to do now is to prise the card from the parentals cold dead hands.

Off to compare prices!.

Thanks all.
