Hunting East Dorset / Hampshire??

Hi there,

I'm sorry if this topic is covered in another thread (I've had a look in the search bar and on internet) please direct me to the correct place if this is the case...

Can anyone tell me which hunt would be my 'local' as I am based in Ringwood / Ferndown / Verwood area? I have hunted in Wiltshire but not since moving to Dorset and I haven't a clue which hunts are in the area!!

I would like to get some hound exercise in early and I'm not sure who to contact!

Thar area is covered by a few hunts (NF; South Dorset; Portman etc), have a look at

Def. not South Dorset - it would take a very long time to hack to the nearest meet!!

I was going to say Portman but you would be right on the very edge of their country and I'm not sure if they actually hunt as far down as that. Not sure about New Forest but imagine you would be near them too.

Your pretty much smack bang in Wilton country.

Portman do come down to verwood at times but rarely - New forest also cover your area but are predominantly lyndhurst area...
