Hunting Falls :)

Does anyone have some funny falls from the hunting field? If you do, please share them!

Once, my mare decided that she would buck me off so that I would land in the manure pile nearby. I will never live that down.
Another time, she thought that lying down in the middle of a mud puddle would be ever such good fun.

Horses...

Hundreds!

I jumped a hedge and failed to notice the branch above it, hit the branch with my face and was swept off backwards. My biggest concern as I was pouring blood out of my nose was that I was going to a hunt ball that evening with a new boyfriend!

The horse standing next to me in a field one day decided to roll. As it knelt down and put its head flat on the floor, its jockey tipped over the front and his head hit the floor so he was doing a handstand. I cried with laughter, poor man!

Friend jumped a hedge and vanished from view. Saw his horse canter off, no sign of him, then saw one arm shoot up and wave from inside the hedge!

I expect there are loads more I will remember.
