hunting for a lorry!

hi everyone... well as the number of horses i compete has sneakily grown... i need a bigger lorry - im looking for a 5horse min ideally 6horse - and dont want a renault but other than that - as long as the horses fit and it has living i'd be a very happy bunny!

can anyone suggest any good websites for lorries????

yep! thats what i was thinking too! those 2 are my favourites.. also, what opinions do people have on the ford and volvo HGVS ????

horsedeals ususally have some nice lorries on there webby...

one word of advice though try and avoid mercedes as parts can be hard to find (and rather expensive!)

not a lot, really.....

MAN would be on the top of my list, either HGV or non-HGV....

reliability second to none...

Scania also good.

would touch a Ford/Iveco, Mercedes or Renault with a barge-pole...

Volvo's tend to be heavy, chasis-wise...and thats before a box is put on the top!!

if you can be a bit patient you will probably get a vv nice lorry for that amount....most people cant be bothered to go out on a winters morning and start th engine every day so just sell up.

sit tight and im sure you will end up with a fab lorry that most will be envious of

they built my MAN from scratch...chasis up....for 18.5k....

this one is only a 7.5t...but they'll build to your budget....

as its all aluminium, it has a payload of 3.4tons....around 5 average animals....
