silly question really but feel a bit silly having to call the secretary!!
roughly how much is a days hunting? ive been a newcomer and this only counts for 3 days which ran out lastweek! so far only paid £20 for a day and everyone i ask cant really give me a answer! also someone suggested buying a book of tickets?
soooooo.....how much do you all pay and is there ways of making it cheaper? i'd love to go out a few times a month but if it's up to £80 as one person said im not sure i could afford it!!

Our visitors cap is £50 I think, or £25 if you are under 25.

Some of the big shire hunts could well be more like £80 I would think - who do you hunt with?

Many hunt secretaries will do a number of tickets for a slightly reduced cap - if you buy 6 days at once say, so it's worth having a chat with the secretary.

southdown and eridge! £50 sounds better :) and im under 25 untill the end of the month!
ill call the secrety but i hate phonecalls to people i dont really know! just trying to figure out how much i can afford to go!

£80 day cap for max 5 days open season  I'm not a subscriber cos I work full time, have kids and lots of family commitments, on average I get out once a month. I always go home when horse tired, but try to make the day last as long as poss to get my money's worth ;)

going out with the bloodhounds is more affordable; £40 cap, but a couple of weeks ago (just after opening meet) only paid £20 :)

Round here, visitors cap is over £100!! I have just spoken to sec about a 6 day package which is £500. Prices have gone up a lot in the last few years I have noticed.
