I have a young horse I want to take hunting and/or drag hunting this coming season. Ideally would like as much jumping as possible, but he is novice...so 2'6" - 3'0" is plenty. Any thoughts on best hunts/drag hunts to go with? I am based in the New Forest but don't mind travelling.

The wilton are a good and friendly pack of fox hounds. I hunt with them every week. There are always plenty of jumps of varing sizes and we even have a non jumping field so there is always a way round if you don't fancy one. They meet wed and sat. I live near fordingbridge and hack to alot of the meets so you won't have to travell far. I have hunted with quite a few packs over the years and the wilton are the friendlyest i have met. everyone is always happy to help. Hope this is of some help and you find a sutable pack for you. Maybe see you out with the wilton

HH is the Hampshire Hunt a separate entity to the Hursley Hambledon. Both friendly, good fun packs.

Confusing isn't it! :)
