Not very experienced but did a few hunts with the Edenderry Harriers. Fell off twice but still had great fun. Both times had mud up to my ears and my horse did too.
I've also hunted once with the South County Dublin hunt once and enjoyed it. They are a drag hunt so always moving and the track is well planned and the land owners are always happy to give their permission to pass through as they know they will be there from certain times.
Got home safe from all the hunts although I did find it scary at times! One occasion I was riding my own horse and I had to retire as he decided it was just too much fun and took off flat out with no sign of stopping. Naughty boy!
It was a great hack home though cos I followed the hunt from the road and didn't miss out on anything.
