It is very hard to repeal a law. Legislators are hell bent on seeing their names up in lights by passing new ones! That's why we have the steaming pile of horse do that serves today as an excuse for the Criminal Law.
And let's be honest the Hunting Act is a great big fat one planted right on the top.
Never fear though, help is at hand. The law may be hard to repeal but it's damnably easy to break with impunity.
If anyone would like to see just how easy then he might like to attend the Hunting Open Day being organised on my farm in rural North Devon by the League Against The League Against Cruel Sports, an underground organisation dedicated to the open commission of Rural Crime for the moral improvement of society.
Everybody anti or pro or even the massive majorrity who simply couldn't care less is welcome to attend this public celebration of Governmental stupidity. Bring a dog or dogs if you wish. People are more than welcome to break the Hunting Act on my land or if they have moral scruples about that just have a nice stroll with the pooch and watch those deer fly!
We are especially keen on getting some Hunt Monitors down, we have a small band booked in from London to film the action but I am sure they would like a bit of company. They will be conducting 'handing in of video proof and signed confession of guilt to the chief constable at Middlemoor' ceremony after the event.
Refreshments provided, but if anyone wants to bring along a cake then please do! Also if there's a band out there who wants to attend it would be great. Let's party! They need to know at least the Death March (for the Hunting Act) or 'I Fought the Law and the Law Won' in the unlikely event that the police enforce this absurd law.
We are totally open and upfront about breaking the Hunting Act. The police have been informed and, as ever they have raised no objection whatsoever. Bless em!
Be you anti, pro or simply couldn't care less everyone is most welcome at this event. For further details please email gbradshaw@dkcs.ws or MSN ereiam.jh@hotmail.co.uk
Event website will soon be up at http://wwww.dkcs.ws/hunting
Date to be arranged
