We have an old hunting print on our wall, that I think is a Victorian copy of a well known hunting scene, it came out a clearance of an old farmhouse years ago, it is definitely an oil painting rather than a modern print, I'm really curious to discover more about it - can anyone help.

The bizarre thing is that I've seen this hunting scene as set dressing in numerous 20+ year ago TV productions where there is a country house scene or rural pub - these range from "Murder She Wrote" to "Lovejoy", I'm still waiting for it to appear in Midsummer Murders!

Does anyone recognise the scene? We are really intrigued and would love to know more

Heywood Hardy painted a lot of hunting scenes and yours looks very like one of his. If you google Haywood Hardy prints, you might well find this one. Good luck.
