Hunting Prospects?

With the weather at it's coldest for some years and large amounts of snowfall forecast, what are the chances of anyone hunting in the remainder of the week? I'm off now until Monday but guessing that no one will be taking to the field in these conditions. Particularly keen to hear on the prospects of any Midlands packs, ie. Warwickshire, Worcestershire, North Cotswold etc... Anyone care to enlighten me ...?

think anyone going out is unlikely - see my earlier post. We have about 4" snow and we're down on the river plain - I suspect anywhere higher eg N Cots - will have even more.

We're out on foot tomorrow (allegedly) but not sure the hound lorry will get to the meet - not a lot of gritting going on :(

im cotswold, haven't been out on horse since boxing day, and that was just the meet on horse as its our showing off day... and think surrounding packs are in a similar situation.
now has snowed, so even less chance.
have been out on foot instead for all meets, but delayed till 12. now snow has fallen not sure if the hound lorry will get there :(

Not good for me - we haven't been able to hunt, other than the occasional 'on foot', since the beginning of Dec (virus then frozen/snow), and with the weather don't see us resuming until the end of Jan.
Considering my horses haven't had any decent excercise since then due to the weather, imagine they will have lost too much fitness by the time we start up again and will need at least a couple of weeks back in work prior. We also finish early up in the welsh/shrops hills due to lambing (already started) so will lose out that way as well.
I feel sorry for our hunt more than myself though - we have lost all the major capping days over the festive period, and were struggling financially even before all this beastly weather started....
