Very briefly as I am struggling to type!
Went out Saturday with the Readyfield Bloodhounds met katb there, she was in the big scary jumping group so did not see much of her as I went off with the wimpy jumping group! - Donkey was Donkey, calm and laid back. Approached one jump - probably not enough impulsion - she took off and then seemed to stop - so we had front legs over the fence, back legs the other side I flew out the side door - headfirst into a nice pile of bracken and immediatley rolled away as I expected her to panic - but no she stood stock still while they dismantled the fence and then she walked out. I was aware that my little finger 'felt' funny - did not hurt - so took my glove off to discover the tip of my little finger sticking out at a right angle at my insistence one of the chaps straightened the finger, threw me back up and we went off again!!! We stayed out for the full day although I did not attempt anything except logs as my finger was a 'little' sore! Poor old Donkey took a slippery tumble on some mossey ground with all four legs at angles but again we jumped back up and carried on.
We had a fantastic day, she is still a little stiff but happy. I was sent by hubby last night to A&E as my finger is bigger than my thumb and black - 4 1/2 hours later i know it is not broken just trauma bruising and it is strapped up - 4 1/2 hours to tell me what I knew, where was concerned hubby - in the pub getting drunk .
Will post pics of donkey, Godfrey and Bumble Dog in a second1
