What's everyone's opinions on hunting smaller ponies?
How do you feel, as someone on a larger horse, when you see someone on a smaller pony, ie a Shetland?
I've taken 3 of my Shetlands hunting, they all really enjoyed it, and would love to take one of them again!

A pic or two for your entertainment!;)

Oh and just to let you know I'm not this small anymore! Was over 5 years ago!
Although biscuit, I still fit on ;)

Fab ponies! Lovely to see Shetlands doing some proper work rather than being porky lawnmowers!

They absolutely love getting out, Maddy (Who's retired from ridden work now) was my first pony, she jumped massive for a Shetland, jumped rivers with me, did well showing. Zorro came at the same time as Maddy, and he was truly amazing. He won so much, I had so much fun on him, and he loved not being a fat lawnmower!

Champion for a champ of a pony :)

As for biscuit...he's going out of loan to a little kid until the spring so he won't be a fat lawnmower ;)

The pictures are cute, but I don't understand the questions as (and forgive me if I am wrong) you're a child on the small pony aren't you? In which case it's perfectly normal. If you were say, in your 30s I might take a second look but then think 'fair play, wish I could fit on one of those' lol!

Sorry I didn't explain properly!
Haha no, I'm a child (nearly 14) but on a 16.1hh ex-racer! Being basically 5ft9 has its advantages and disadvantages ;)
But I still fit, weight wise, on one of my Shetlands.
What I'm saying is, do you find Shetlands out hunting a...nuisance maybe? I've had mixed opinions previously so would like to know what everyone thinks :)

Oh, no not at all, I love seeing the littleys :) Although I have to steer clear as my big beast is quite a fan of swinging his backside round into the small ponies - I think he thinks its some sort of game...idiot horse!
