As Above, I have heard that not all hunts do a non jumping option... My old boy would probably enjoy the atmosphere and the run (does the common rideouts during the summer) but we dont jump any more :)

I wnted to take my mare but thats not going to happen, just wanted to know what people thought about taking the non-jumper :)

I think it is more about knowing your way around a Hunt country, knowing where and where you can't go. I am sure some Hunt's are more relaxed about this than others, the Hunt's surrounding me have plenty that don't jump and as long as you don't get in the way of the Master, hound's and Whip's you are free to follow at your own pace.

It is best to check with the Hunt that you plan to go out with - far better to ask than to upset a landowner etc

Don't let it put you off, there will be plenty of others that don't want to jump, and the Hunt certainly wont mind x

With The South Downs Bloodhounds, there is always a way around the jumps (thank goodness or I couldn't have had such a fantastic time on Hattie)
