On the cob

Actually I had forgotten what a great ride he is, not having the edgy coloured underneath you does sometimes have its advantages, like dropping both reins for drinks

Got off to a bad start with a whip falling in the first field. Once that had been sorted we were off. Little cob was a star, pulled like a train to start with, got in deep a couple of times and I was left thinking "oh lordy we are stopping" but he just kept snapping those legs up and clearing. Havnt had one stop all day and he has jumped everything out, so I am very happy with the little man, I think he really enjoyed it

Glad you had a great time. We went last night, I wish young horse would stop falling in the first ditch! Mind it was a humdinger and somehow I didn't fall off, held onto the headpiece for a moment, but when she climbed back up somehow I was still on top!! Our country isn't exciting like yours, but at one point, of the 40 out there were 3 with the field master (I was one!)and looking back over the series of ditches behind us it was like a war film, loose horses and bodies everywhere!

Glad you had a great time.

My 12 yr daughter went cubbing for the first time yesterday morning. An adult from our yard escorted her for me. She jumped some logs and a ditch and had a good time.

I wasn't too keen on the 5am start though!
