Hi,
I'm currently writing an article on the violence between hunters and hunt saboteurs and how it often goes largely unreported in the media.
I'm looking to speak to anyone who has witnessed any incidents of this nature (from either side).
Does anyone have any experiences regarding this that they'd be willing to share with me?
I'm particularly interested if anyone knows anything about the incident earlier in the year when hounds were lured onto a main road by sabs, but any stories are appreciated, the more the better.
I'd also like to know whether there was much media interest in the incidencts, as aside from the Tedworth Hunt case, there seems to have been little media coverage!
Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean!

It means you are scouring for information on a highly contentious issue which may or may not involve police investigations and thus not the sort of general chit chat you find on an internet forum.
Nor do you say who you are, what kind of piece you are doing, who is paying you and where it will be published.

So not the best start for your article.

Yes i agree. I don't think too many people would want to say things on a public forum when people may find out who they are and target them.

Of course I wouldn't expect anything to be discussed if it was currently going through the courts. I read a previous thread detailing the incident that I mentioned (of about 10 pages) so I assumed people were happy to contribute. If not, no need to, it was just a plea for information, or there is also the option to PM.
I'm a student, the article is for my final thesis in my masters degree, it's not being published and i'm not getting paid. I realise it's a contentious topic, however if it weren't there wouldn't be much point writing about it.
It's really just focused on the media reaction to violent crime. Although I ride and hunt myself, naturally the article must remain impartial and just detail the facts.
I'm not trying to start any trouble, so apologies if it came across like that, I literally just want to write a decent article and as forum's go, this is generally the biggest one for hunters.
