Hunting whip refurbishment - help!

I've been given a hunting crop, which as it will have sentimental value to me I'd like to have repaired, as it's rather tired. Can anyone recommend a good refurbisher - thankies!

David Thorne,Lapford,Devon has a brilliant website we have used him a few times, he does a wonderful job.

I think Rosie may be talking about the same person. The guy at Penscombe is fabulous for repairing whips and bringing them back to their former glory. If you are going Honiton or know someone who is going, he is normally there. I cannot remember but I think he is normally at Peterborough too.
The other people you could try are carriage / driving whipmakers.
