Hunting whips have arrived!!

Got a beautiful hunting whip for David Thorne for OH's 21st which I am so so pleased with- he even engraved it for me and it feels pretty awesome.
Also had the keeper mended on mine as I had a little accident with B&BMH at the end of last season and it broke Massive thanks to everyone on here who recommended him, I am very impressed with them both
Counting down the days until we are back up and out, and this season I have been offered one of OH's horses to go with the Blankney, as well as hunting my chappy at home, so I am very very excited about the coming season :grin:

Is this the David Thorne from Lapford in Devon? I saw his stand at the Exford show last week, really liked his stuff and prices not bad either.

Yes, I found his website and then gave him a call. I am really impressed with them, he has made it exactly as I wanted, and it really is beautiful

we've had a few whips mended by David Thorne, he's brilliant. he completely overhauled an ancient ladies whip also for me, wonderful job. thoroughly recommend him!
