Hunting with Avon Vale

Eek,friend has invited mare and me to go hunting with Avon Vale! I haven't been hunting for ages, mare used to hunt with New Forest Staghounds and loved it some 10 years ago. We are not going if it'slike "The Charge of the Light Brigade". Any Avon Vale people here? We might go if it is well regulated I will have to dig out my hunt jacket I suppose.

The one time I went out with them I jumped a metal 5 bar gate, overtook the master and galloped across an A road. I was on my Dads hunter, who pulled like a train and as he had hurt his mouth I was riding with a hackamore! Not good.
They were very posh - by my Essex standards!! - but lovely country.

I hunt with them now!
I will be out on the 26th and if you havent been out for a while they look after you very well if you say to them!
If in doubt stay with people who look like they know what they are doing.
Are you going to be out on the 26th?
If so if you post a pic of your mare i will keep an eye out for you as i will be like a begginer all over again as i will be on an ex racer!

I went out with them about a month ago, they were OK, very sensible not that fast, jumps about a 1m max, mainly stone walls. A lot of people didn't jump at all.
