Hi there, i've recently been out with Kent and Surrey Bloodhounds, Hound exercise and Opening Meet, also on foot this past weekend at Eastlands Farm (near Warninglid). I wondered if anyone is going this weekend to the Borde Hill Meet? Each time i've been out with them everyone has been so friendly and the day has been great fun. For those of us on new horses you don't have to jump, but for those of you who do there have been some great hedge hopping days out too!
Say Hi if you see us, you might recognise me from the picture!

I went out with them on Sunday for the first time ever (I've only ever done 2 mock hunts before) and found it excilarating. Unfortunately I didnt have any brakes though which was very scary!!! We managed to jump some of the hedges though, only falling off once :smirk:, so I was pleased with that :)

I would love to do Borde Hill, but firstly I would need to invest in some brakes (Ive never ridden her in anything other than a snaffle for all 3 phases of eventing), and secondly, Im not sure if it would be too much for her to go again so quickly? Her blood is still up from Sunday!!

If I do go though I will say hi :)

Glad you had a good time, I was on foot on Sunday, definately the fun without the fear! lol but will be mounted at Borde Hill, It going to be a good one, but I also know what you mean about excitability! I had to buy another horse as the last one was just too hot headed! lol Hopefully see you out soon.
