Hunting with the North Galways

Just wondering if anyone has ever hunted with the North Galways?
Myself and the OH are heading to Galway for a weekend of hunting and then the hunt ball on Saturday night think its serious stone wall country- scary stuff!!

Never HUnted with them but yes Galways is known for its Stone Walls..

I used to hunt with them years ago when Henry Gordon was in charge. They were not as fashionable as the neighbouring Blazers, but just as much fun. It's stone wall country which is, in my opinion, much less hairy than banks. I wasn't brave enough to hunt with the East Galway.
Visitors used to get hirelings from a fellow called Willie Leahy - I wonder if he's still going.

Yes willie is still going strong . We hired from him in a place called bernedorg in north galway hunt meet. what a day ,it was the best ever . Lovely bunch of people.
