Hunts near Derby.....

Hi all, I am based in staffordshire, but will be in Derbyshire for the festive season. I am looking for a hunt to follow on foot New Years Day near Belper, but will travel about 45mins. Thanks in advance!

High Peak, Meynell?

Hi there I live in Belper! Do you want fox hounds or blood hounds?

Four shires and the Byrne are local and both friendly.

I found it too crowded with the Meynall and the High Peak at Christmas, and the Meynall went from Tutbury the other year which is bloomin miles away. High Peak went from Bakewell which was nice but very crowded and parking was virtually impossible.

I've only been on foot before, and I haven't checked where they all are this christmas but will go out either boxing day or new years day but will probably see if I know anyone who will be riding before i decide who to follow.

Thanks Katt. I have just found out that the High Peak leave from Middleton, so we will probably go on foot from there. Thanks for your help

Hello, our boxing day meet is at Market Bosworth, not too far I dont think! Its the Atherstone.

The south notts are often in that area but not sure about new years day.x
