The Cheshire Forest used to hunt parts of the Wirral, I don't know if they still do as it's so busy. Think it was their New Year's Meet was always held at Badgers Rake for years but they hunt up towards Manchester/Stockport way.
Other than them you have a choice of the Cheshire (far side of Chester to you; the Wynnstay (a bit further and more to the west) or the Flint and Denbigh, basically off the A55. Not quite sure about others TBH.

That's some useful info thanks!! I'm hoping to go for my first hunt this season. Although will probably need to hire a horse which makes it a bit more complicated! I wish there were more detailed info on the web about meets, but obviously I understand why there isn't!

I'm also in your neck of the woods and am hoping to go soon too. Only thing is..I'm a bit nervous of taking my horse the first time as I'm afraid she'll bolt and try to race to the front (ex-racer, likes to have her nose in front). So I'm also considering hiring so if you get anymore info please PM me! Also if you know of anyone who fancies jockeying the above mentioned horse also PM me.
