I think all of the Essex hunts jump, but you would need to choose your day. Speak to the secretary and s/he will be able to guide you towards a jumping days.

For example, i've been out with the E&S twice - first day we jumped nothing, not a stick. second day we must have jumped 60 - 80 fences!

EFUH have some good jumping days, but again you need to pick your day. Yesterday we jumped nothing more than a few ditches, next Sat we go through a cross country course so depending on where the lines take us we could jump a good few fences.

not sure about the EE, not been out with them for years, but think thy have been biulding more fences this season. Essex also jump on some days, and I've jumped some hoooge ditches out with them!

so.....you're not going to get leicestershire jumping all day on grass days down here, but we certainly all jump if you get the right day.

hope that helps!

If you want a really good days jumping and don't really care about houndwork then you should head up the M11 to one of the Cambridge University Drag Hounds meets.

They do sometimes come over this way too, so perhaps I could go out with them when they are! Thank you.
