Bit of a pointless post really - but I am VERY excited about my jumping lesson tomorrow and I have realised that this is the first time since I started jumping again that the whole "hurrah for jumping" feeling has come back again. I used to jump and compete alot when I was a teenager but only recently started again (a good fifteen years later

) and am having to train myself at the same time I am retraining my beastie. All of the jumping lessons until this one have mainly involved me getting over my fear and just feeling a bit of a chicken. So I am therefore VERY pleased that the whole driving passion to jump has come back. HURRAH. I will probably fall off now

I know EXACTLY how you feel, as after falling off and having concussion in October I have been totally "off " the idea of leaving the ground at all.

However I took my other sensible horse to a fun SJ comp last night, and I think this has encouraged me again, enough to be thinking of organising some jumping lessons over Xmas.

Very best of luck with your lesson - hope it goes really well.

Yay thats brilliant and I know exactly how you feel as I had a big break from jumping and competing too. Now I am seriously addicted again and I'm sure you will be too.
