Today we finally got out for a proper, all-in-one-go, 90 minute yomp, no wading through knee deep snow for the first time in weeks and it felt soooo good.
Got loads of roadwork done, with a few rest stops, which will help B's back, and I am in such a good mood, I think the three of us were going mad not being able to do proper big walks

and B seems to be in such a better mood today.
It's good to be alive!

"What's all this green stuff????"

So, after the snow pics, anyone want to share 'Hurray, it's thawing' pics?

That's a balls Hen, I am surprised how quickly it has gone here, it was here on Friday morning and pretty much all away now.
It looks so weird after everything being white for so long.
But Spangles like a good mudbath, don't they???

The ditches round here are really filling up

Fortunately the soil is pretty sandy so it doesn't get too muddy.

Tis going green here to! Whoop whoop! Glad Bodo and Bella enjoyed their walkies today! Mine were a crazy uncontrollable pack of loonies! LOL

Glad you have got some freedom again. Round here we had water on top of ice this morning, not good, but its going now and Evie managed to find some mud tonight

I think you are right about road work helping B's back, I have not been walking the lanes round here (after a scary incident when a pick up and trailer skidded and were heading for me sideways), and have noticed Buffy is a bit weaker over her back end, so back to roadwork for her again now.

Ignore Henmeister being miserable, we had a fabulous walk today in the rain despite the mud

The dogs didnt have to wear coats (neither did I, so I got a bit wet

) and they had a whale of a time hurling around the woods
grin.gif

In fact they have been stretched out fast asleep ever since, having artfully transferred their mud and wetness to the throws over the furniture

humph...my lot didn't see any bunnies, sheep or cyclists or pedistrians or anything else but were still little sh1ts!

Its really foggy here too so I kept loosing one everytime I just thought I got them all back with me! Flora got lost and somehow ended up screaming her head off at me across a field from ontop of a 6ft wall with a barbed wire fence 2ft to the inside of it!
blush.gif
Good job she knows her wait command now cos I shouted at her to wait (was petrified of her jumping off at all let alone landing straight ontop of the wire). Finally got to her, stood on wire, stretched right out to her and she jumped onto my head and clung for dear life!
grin.gif
Thats a heavy bloomin dog to have on your head! I got her safely to the floor then fell a over t myself and scratched myself on the bleeding wire

Then one of the terriers went to ground.....
was far more eventful of a walk than I would have liked after showing all morning! Little horrors, good job I love em!

Except my seratonin levels are artificially induced, but I am so happy nothing can put me down at the moment
