Just wondering what the best heavyweight (350g+) stable rug to get is that is the best value for money? Preferably with neck.
I'd rather not pay a fortune if I don't have to, obviously if I have to to get a decent one I will... Hope that makes sense? :P

Have had a look on preloved etc at second hand ones but after contacting numerous adverts all have either been sold or no reply.

Have you looked on ebay on the buy it now section; you often get small time sellers flogging cheapo rugs.

Requisite stable rugs tend to be quite cheap; you could also look at evision, protuff or swish equestrian.

Firstly I would suggest an outdoor rug. Breathable and keep the wet from seeping through when your horse lies down.
Try Hertford Horse Bits (you can google them). they have a great selection of rugs (many more than they have on their website, so I would suggest you give them a call. They post out to you and I've always had good service from them.

They source end of range rugs from big manufacturers, so as long as you don't mind last year's colours then you could great a good bargain

Local tack shop to me - paid £83 including hood. Most other shops are asking around £70/£75 + £27ish for the hood. I can pm you their website if you like?

Had a Chilton HW for about a month now, really pleased with it. It was only £45 (or thereabouts), delvery next day, not rubbed any mane, stays in place, cosy and fits perfectly. Didn't have the money for a more expensive one sothought this would be replaced after this winter but it is actually really nice! Even goes with my navy blue colour scheme..
