Hyde Park

Hi I've just came back from London this week end and wondered if any one has hired a horse and hacked in Hyde Park, if so where can you hire them from.
I saw lots of riders and thought there must be a riding stables close by but could not find them.

I used to ride there - you can't hire a horse though. You go with a qualified instructor, either by yourself or in a group. It's lovel hacking - I used to love galloping down rotten row. Look on google for hyde park stables. There's another riding stables literally next door to it, which I thought was a bit better....can't for the life of me remember the name...hyde park mews or something?

Thats the one - Ross Nye stables - I prefered that one to HPS.

I was given vouchers to ride in Hyde park... They did ask if I could ride and I said I had my own horse. But, I had to go on a lead rein because it is policy for the first ride

then no cantering either for the same reason...

on the up side - the girl leading me let me off as she said it was clear I could ride and we did have a canter after all.... but think it would depends on who takes you out...
