What % is best for treatment?

Ps. Not asking for treatment for my own horse before anyone gets into the good/bad points of using it as a cure for thrush.

Just buy the concentration from the chemist which they sell for wound cleaning. There is evidence that it is toxic to tissue and potentially carcinogenic so I only use the low conc. stuff. It's its bubbling oxygen release that kills the anaerobes and fungi living round the frog.

It used to be a standard treatment in human wound care to help clean infected wounds. Get the already diluted stuff from the chemist, as the oxygen is released it turns to water and the bubbles help loosen dead cells and gunk. This is the one time that I think Hibscrub is a better idea but I do sometimes think that what people think is thrush is just a normal sweaty frog when bedding or mud has been packed into the hoof for a long time it doe whiff a bit.
