Here are a couple of pics of my little boy having some swimming lessons with his therapist!!! He was diagnosed with having elbow dysplasia in both legs (very unusual in staffies). He's had major surgery & part of his recovery is the swimming. This was only his first time and he was very scared but he's on his 5th time now & is loving it. Still needs a breather now & again (or an excuse for a cuddle)!

I used to take my old GSD to a hydrotherapy pool, not for any particular health reason just because she loved it. A friend and I used to book the pool once a month. It was like a small swimming pool, and you could go in with the dogs. I never did but my son used to swim with them, it was lovely to see.

His therapist is having an outdoor one built at the moment & the owners can go in with their dogs so that should be fun. This existing one is a tiny pool, don't know how they manage with huge dogs.
