Hyper dog

Hi Guys!
I feed my 3 dogs a springer spaniel, gsd and a paterdale on JWB and nature diet meat twice a day they all come to work with me so there allways running around but my gsd is very hyper still no matter tiering him out he is still hyper! Ive allway owned gsd they have never been this hyper! Has anyone got any suggestion on how to calm him down? Food etc?

I would suggest feeding just one of those meals as they are both complete diets and it could be that you are giving too much protien. Give it a go for a couple of weeks and see if it makes a difference.

What age is he? Sounds a perfect candidate for obedience or agility training, give him a 'job' to do and I am sure he will settle, rather than lots of plain old exercise (whatever you throw at a GSD, they will take it) brain training will tire him more agree with the other poster, I doubt they need both JWB AND Nature Diet.

Sounds Luke he needs less food, more thinking. One of my springers is much more energetic than the others and needs more attention/interesting toys.
