Help! has anybody heard anything like this? my horse has been in constant work for about 2 years now, he is now 6, but over the winter his behaviour has slid back, i put it down to not enough turnout, and lack of work, we have only been able to hack, in summer we lunge and school. All he has been doing is playful bucking, exuberance of a young horse, he has managed to get me off a couple of times. He has had his back done, yes there was a problem, now sorted, and saddle checked and changed , now sorted, lunging quietly in tack. He now is hyper sensitive around his girth area, more so on the side you mount, to the point i cant get on him! if you touch him in that area, its like giving him an electric shock, he is sensitive on the other side , but not quite bad. His skin is a bit dry, and he is clipped and changing coats. I am completely stumped by this, any ideas??
