My Le Chameau’s (Vierzonord) appear to have sprung a leak or two and I’m now on the hunt for some new wellies, probably the same ones or could anyone recommend me an alternative. Need some with wider calf type and something to keep my feet toastie. Also can anyone recommend where to purchase on the web.

Many thanks.

If you fancy another splurge look at Aigles. I have just treated myself to a pair and they are wonderful, really comfy and fit my fat calves. I have the Parcours ISO's. I was looking a Le Chameaus but come across the Aigle's reviewed on a shooting forum and decided to go with them as cheaper yet the same spec. I have had muckboots before and been pleased with them, but I am in love with the Aigles already - Climate control for feet and serious grip too!!

Another vote for the Parcours - they do come up small though so do buy 1-2 sizes bigger.

I got them because I was umming and ahhing about the cheap wellies in Scats and a chap walked in and picked up some Parcours (they were a pressie for his girlfriend) and said 'you don't want to bother with those cheapies, these will last you for years and years and work out far cheaper than buying a new pair of those every year or two' (which is true, last pair of cheapies were probably less than 2 years old). Have to say they're lovely and comfortable have walked miles round cross country courses after daughter in them and they still look good as new, and are brilliantly warm on a cold day.

Look at Amazon for Aigles, as they have amazing prices at the moment. Mine were half price and hubby saved £95 on his. I have the neoprene lined Parcours ISO's and hubby has Parcours Vario Outlast (his feet get a bit warm for neoprene lined).

We are both really pleased with the boots, but I would not advise ordering a size bigger, as I think that the boots actually come up slightly big anyway. That said, I would not have wanted a smaller size either.

Hope this helps.
