Sorry for another rant! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
My youngster has been booked twice over 5 weeks to be gelded. I’ve felt two then booked him in, vet couldn’t find one so said he’d come back in 4 weeks. Monday they came again and no luck! I thought to myself “am I just feeling one and thinking it’s two?” So the past two days I’ve been so stressed about it! He tried to mount one of the mares being led through his paddock! Been flirting over the fence, (have now electrified) but vet assured me that the one in question wasn’t down enough and they could only just feel it. I thought maybe it’s because the mornings are colder? I only ever “cop a feel” in the evenings.
So come to this evening. And I see this!!! Ugh. I’m going crazy 😂

If they can feel them they should be able to get them off! I've had a couple done where one was hidden right up behind the other and it was never an issue.

The second time they came (Monday) they said they could only feel the tail of it, so wouldn’t be able to get it from there! Ugh. I may call and ask about doing it later in the day when it’s warmer and he’s been out for a few hours

Both of my stallions (27yo & 6yo) "geld" themselves when it's cold! So it is possible that your lad will shimmey them about a bit!
That’s what I was thinking! They seem to be more prominent in the afternoon after he’s been out in the sun!

This was yesterday. Ugh! Must be the warm weather and turnout! Have emailed my vets but I guess I won’t hear from them for a few days. I’m so impatient
