Changed my mind now! lol

Been thinking about making my own jumps for a while as I didn't think I could afford proffessional prices. So hook the trailer up this morning and set off to the wood merchants to get the materials. I had measured a jump I already have so knew what wood I needed. The wood needed to make two wings cost me just under £40! Then I will need to buy cups, poles and paint and not to mention the work I will have to do! And at the end of the day I'm crap at wood work so my jumps won't be that proffessional! Now thinking that jumps aren't that over prices after all!

I brought 2 sets of jumps and cups (minus the poles) from Spike123 on here and i only paid £62 in total. Her OH makes them and they are really good but we collected them. Dont know how much delivery will cost.

We used to make our own!.If you go to any garage workshop and ask them for wheels (tyres with the rims) and get two peices of timber four inches by four inches and as tall as you want them four foot say. Then drill out your holes for the cup pins then slot the timber into the rims (which will need rounding off) and there you have a cheap pair of wings!!.You can spray the wheels/wood any colour you like!!.Luvvly jubbly!!.
