ever donkey foal at Apleby horse fair the other day.
I never realised until then i had never seen a Donkey foal. It was soooo cute.
I have been told to get a Donkey as they are supposed to be good luck. Must be why they are so expensive around here.

Is there anything you have never seen and never realised until thinking about it?

umm, never seen a cat giving birth, yet seen horses, dogs, sheep, cows, pigs and even an elephant and giraffe birth.!!

My cats want me to hold their hand (figuratively speaking) they come and get me (yowl - loudly) then like to be talked to and told how well they are doing!

Never seen the elephant (unless you count a rather sweet You Tube clip) or a giraffe though.

Ummmm, back to the original question, I am waiting to see a live possum here, all I ever see are squashed ones on the road.

Donkey foals are seriously cute (we used to over winter a bunch for the Donkey Sanctuary years and years ago when E was still at the Hotel and there were always babies there, also bred them for the Country Park where they'd walk besides their Mum when they were pulling the carts) I don't know about them being lucky though - maybe for the person who has sold you one at a big price? They always seem to cost a lot for some reason.
