Decided that if I want to take her to PAVO it may be an idea to take her to something a little bigger than your small village horse show so she is now entered in "3 year old filly of gelding likely to make a hunter (foaled in 2004) - she's probably a bit fine but they didn't have a sports horse class, she is well mannered and athletic and its only 10 mins down the road - provided she behaves I don't mind if she comes last or if we end up being laughed at for not being true to type.

Someone re-assure me

You'll be fine! Rhi has very little bone yet has been Hunter champion, the sport horse champion at the Royal Welsh last year looked like a hunter not a sport horse!

Good luck, let us know how you get on and please post piccies.

P.s may not make Pavo with Rhi

Hope all goes well, I am nearly finishing my 5 weeks of show production on Chancer who is starting to look rather muscled up and round rather than floppy and hollow.

Once the WCC and ASS champs are done, he can go back down to a floppy baby until I start again next year for his qualifiers.

He is enjoying the extra grub, and has yet to complain about working a little harder in the short term.

Well that makes me a little more hopeful, shame about PAVO though - this is our pre-run: if she can cope with a county level agricultural show combined with a country fair then I know she'll mentally be fine with PAVO - if she can't then I won't be entering so we may end up not doing it!!

You really need to post some more pics of him - would love an update!!

As for T's show prep, she'll have a bath the day before but that will be about it, lol!
