My horses moved yards on Saturday. BH is being absolutely ridiculous. If I remove Nitty from the field he goes absolutely apeshit. I can't leave her in there, she needs to do some work (too much grass and I'm worried about her lami) but can't let him belt around too much either as he's supposed to be resting. Ha, yesterday I watched him jump the damn fence and this morning he was going full pelt up and down the fence line which is rock solid and rutted.
What do I do with him? If I bring him in he throws himself around in the stable and digs with the bad leg and more to the point he'll break something and I don't want to be thrown off before we've even been there a week.
He's always been a bit clingy to her but nothing as ridiculous as this. I know he needs time to settle but he can't just have a month where I do nothing with her to simmer down unfortunately.
I am now going out of my mind as I am totally stuck and keep expecting to go up there to check them to find him hopping lame on the bad leg and her flat out with lami. Not doing much for my stress levels frankly.
Sorry, that got long. I just needed to vent a bit. I should have bought nice sensible cobs shouldn't I?!
