I am never taking my new boots off!!

OK, this is very self-indulgent but I'm sure people here will appreciated where I'm coming from. I won a pair of Ariat Grasmere's in a prize draw, they arrived today, delivered to work.

Oh. My. Goodness! They are so beautiful, I don't think I've seen a more beautiful pair of boots (I think the glow that said "free!!" probably helped). They smell delicious and the leather is so soft already. I put them on and was dancing round the office at work!

I've got them on now and I don't want to take them off (but I also don't want to get them dirty!), maybe I can sleep in them. My feet are so toasty warm!!

Speaking of dirty and thinking practically - can anyone who has a pair of these beautiful boots tell me how much hammer they can take and how you look after them to keep them beautiful!

The Boot Oracles of SB say, don't wear them to muck out as the ammonia in the wee eats away at the glue holding the soles on!

I would use Ariat products to clean and reproof them, and make sure to dry them naturally if they get wet, rinse any mud or poop off them, and generally love them dearly

Mind you I did all that with my Rydale (el cheapo catastro) boots and they are still falling to bits... I am very jealous of you and your boots!
