Today was designated T.Day. Having owned the handsome boy for just over 8 weeks it was time to find out if he would go in my trailer.
This is my boy
He was delivered in a Lorry as I was quite ill at the time so couldnt collect.
I dont like loading up just for the sake of it so we had a cunning plan that if he went in we would box to my mates and hack out.
So today he went straight in the trailer just a split second hesitation. He travelled really well. My partner followed for the first couple of miles and said Charlie kept looking over his shoulder to watch the view out the back.
He arrived at her yard as cool as a cucumber was a bit nosy but very relaxed.
He and her mare behaved impeccably and we had a stonking ride in the local woods including a run along a leafy track with mini jumps along it.
Then when we got back we nipped into her jumping paddock and popped a few cross-country fences (dont be impressed they were tiny) and a couple of coloured cross-poles including a double of frightening spotty ones he wasnt aware he was supposed to be frightened of.
