My little pregnant fishy died yesterday too

She was gonna have babies too so super sad.

Mine are poorly, bought them some little platty friends a few days ago and now my biggies are all clamped and sad.

cant see anything really wrong, like no bugs or scabs etc but they are flashing against the glass and stones :-(

Any advice?? I have done a water change and tested the water (becorehand) but my test kits are a few years old and I dont know if they still work!!

An anti parasite remedy? Did you not quarantine them?

I did put some medication for parasites in last night... but to be honest i never quarantine my fish as i dont have facilities to have lots of tanks running at the same time.

They are only cheap easy community fish ( having said that i dont regard their welfare as cheap) and i have never had a problem integrating them before. If they were something very sensitive then perhaps i would.

I will see how we get on. Thanks for the advice.
