The last few days my cob has been very tense and seems quite stressed. On Monday morning I tied him outside to give him his net as I always do,and he kept looking all around spoke to him calmly and he settled and started to eat his hay!He kept looking down the gap between two buildings and was very focused that there was something there I could see nothing out of the ordinary! Any how that night did not want to go in his box(very out of character for a very laid back cob!!!) he has repeated this a couple more times since yesterday. So tonight he did it and used a treat to persuade him in......when all was revealed as to why he might be doing this!!!! At the weekend we had "lets help ourselves Pikies" taking red diesel from the tank,and the button that starts it is next to his box in the building. I keep him at a yard that is a feed merchant business and they use this red diesel for the fork lifts (I would think the "Pikies" will use it for their road vehicle's) the less I say about this sector of society the better!!!!!!
We think they did make noise while moving around, but , not to loud so to disturb the YO !!!! Now as my boy was the closet he has become very tense and today reacted to the workman who have been doing alot of work with the place being done up,he would normaly not but a eye lid! I was thinking of putting him on a calmer to relax him or a magnesium supplement.......I don't no what to do
any help or ideas would really help please as hate to see him like this
