I popped out to the shop earlier for literally 10 mins, when I got home B was singing her 'ohmygodmamithoughtyoudied' song in her crate so I shushed her and sat down to watch the telly. We usually let her out as soon as she is quiet and chilled.

Well.... I forgot about her:o

She was only in there for an hour and I only realised she was still in there because she was having a very loud dream:o:eek:

I am a terrible mother.

BUT She has just taken herself back in there :D I know this sounds like very little to most of you but B has terrible SA (Spoilt rotten) and she only ever mooches off to her crate when she hears me making her food or I put my shoes on. She never chooses to go in there over sleeping on the couch / having a cuddle.

I am so happy :)

Feel free to ignore my neglectful / pathetic post about something we should have cracked a year ago:o

I can appreciate your happiness, well done you and B :D

If it makes you feel better, Loki has been forgotten once too. My dad gave me a lift to the garage to collect my car, and was meant to head straight back and let him out whilst I did a weekly shop. I came back a couple of hours later and was a little perturbed that I didn't have a large GSD winding around my legs like a cat. Asked the father figure (who was sat working) where the hell my dog was and received a very blank look. Followed by a slightly horrified one.

Since Loki hadn't made any noise when he came home he'd forgotten all about him. Worryingly, I'm leaving my dog in his care this weekend as I set off for Edinburgh tomorrow!

Aww thanks pix :)

I feel like we have just been going round in circles with Bs SA. We have been putting alot of work in recently so for her to just take herself off for a nap has mad me so happy :)

B was locked in the bathroom for a couple of hours last week :o She somehow managed to lock herself in, I didnt realise till I went for a wee and found a very peed off terrier shredding the bin contents. I dont feel so bad about that one... the dozy cow didnt even bark.

All our dogs are different and progress at different rates, perhaps it was because you were chilled rubbed off on her, the thing to remember is she didnt die in there and it did her no harm.

Well done, onwards and upwards.

Lol, daft dog :D

I do know what you mean. Loki is generally always at my ankles, as I'm home so much, so we can have issues sometimes as well with him being left. Generally he shuts up and goes to sleep after 10 mins or so of very loud complaints. But often it seems like one step forward and two back. When he actually chooses to spend time in his crate/bed instead of at my feet or on my knee it seems like a relief (especially when he stays there for an hour or two and puts in some wall-shaking snores! :D).

Aww, that sounds brilliant- I remember your posts about her. Hope it continues!

Its daft what makes you happy isnt it? I was thrilled the day the skinny mongrel walked to heel , off lead, through a herd of cows. Wouldnt have been that long ago, he would have scampered after the lot!

I'm ignoring last week where apparently a deadly spider was threatening the safety of the house. I came home to find a squished spider and extremely dead cushion ;)
