I was down at the field tonight and Daisy is suffering with her sweetitch. I found a hole in her rug where the pesky midges have been getting in, hence her being rather itchy in her mane.

Her mane looked so scurffy and itchy and sore that I went to the box, got a pair of scissors............... and chopped it off

...... except for her forelock because she looks so pretty with a fringe

I will be tidying it up a bit tomorrow!

She is a cob so its not as if she can't be hogged - just needs a tidy up and I guess that lovely fringe is going to have to go!
