Ok today Charisma's owner and me went to dressage - I rode the test first (first in) and J was last in, same test. J called for me, and I called for J.

Now I have been having trouble with Charisma's canter - good transitions but C finds it hard to keep the canter and loses balance etc. (Some would say I shouldn't have even done a test with canter, but nevermind

She was ok in my test, quarters in

but ok. When I called for J she found it hard to keep the canter, and trotted half of the canter part of the test. So, she's trotting round and the next move requires her to trot at K. So I'm like 'Working trot at K' but because she was already trotting I started laughing

And then I had to keep it in while saying the next movement, and I felt awful because it looked like I was laughing at J but I wasn't!! Just the situation! I feel really bad and it made me look like a right pretentious tw@t

She was laughing about it as well but I couldn't help but get the giggles, please tell me you have got the giggles at really inappropriate times

Oh and then J's daughter M tried to load her pony but it went out the side and trotted over the some grass, M in tow. J and me started laughing (again!! What is wrong with me

) m was shouting but I couldn't stop laughing!! I don't think I'm amazing (far from it in fact!!) But I found it hilarious, like something from You've been framed

Sorry but I feel a bit mean

I'm really bad at that too - I think about silly stuff when I see something else happen and then get the giggles. My instructor can be sarky and if he says something about another rider on the lesson I'll be thinking "that's horrid and I'm as bad as them" but I'll see the funny side and have to stop myself giggling. I then feel awful if their friend or one of their parents is in the gallery watching

I sometimes giggle at the kids at school when they come out with funny stuff but they are trying to be serious and then I feel awful too

I wish I could wait til I get home before smiling or laughing

LOL WeeBrown J's daughter can be a little bit of a Diva, and she was like 'can't believe you were laughing' etc etc

with a strop on and it just made me laugh all the more

I just felt so bad because when J came out the school she was laughing with the steward (It was her first dressage test ever ) and she was like 'It didn't help that my caller was laughing!'

well, if you'd seen Cazza and Delphipuppy killing themselves laughing the last time i went out competing, you wouldn't feel like a pretentious tw*t ! I had the two of them laughing at me....on the plus side, i couldnt feel too stressed, i relaxed because i was laughing as well. Got an utterly pants score but at least i stayed on !

Don't worry. Last competition in the middle of Canter 20m Circle at B, I lost my stirrup, horse bucked and skittered off down the arena. Regained my stirrup and re-started circle at E. Judge was really lovely to me, but I couldn't look at her or the girl calling for me because all 3 of us would have just started p*ssing ourselves. I could see the girl calling for me - her shoulders were shaking, which nearly set me off laughing, and I know even the judge was trying to hold it in and be professional!
