Pointless post really but decided to lunge in a pessoa last night, need to do it more regularly as 'madam' doesnt really like using her back or working properly at all under saddle really.

Lunged her round and was THRILLED she was really stretching down, much to my amazement! Cue lots of yelling from me 'gooooood girl, LUVVERLY stretch, wowser you are suuuuuuch a goooood girl' etc etc (sort of at the top of my voice so everyone in the county knew us 'hopeless' ones can lunge beaaautifully)

Went to change the rein...

.... massive wad of grass hanging out the 'outside' side of her mouth

Cheeky monkey wasnt 'working properly' at all she was cunningly hoovering stray grass from little tufts around the lunge pen without me even noticing!!!

She is on a diet so maybe she is trying to tell me she is starving!

I am SUCH a sucker!!!

I got a 9 once in a dressage test for my long rein walk... What the judge didn't know was that my horse was actually pulling his head down to try and eat the grass

When at pony club doing dressage on my mums cob on grass whenever it got the 'walk and a long rein' bit all i could hear was Georges lips slapping together hoovering the grass tips- cheeky pony! x
