with our 11.2hh Section A retired companion pony, Nancy. She is the perfect little person, mannerly, affectionate, biddable, beautiful, spirited.
She came to us over 2 years ago while Rose was on box rest so that she could keep Ruby company. However, Ruby has never really been very fond of her and Nancy is more bonded with Rose. Now that Rose is in a field on her own awaiting the birth of foalie, Nancy stands by her gate telling me she wants to be in with Rose.
When my home computer is mended, I will post some piccies of her. She is dark dun and in the summer goes dark brown with dun spots on her bottom. She is a class pony and as a youngster won loads and had some good foals. She moves like a dream and isn't above doing a lap of the 6 acre field at gallop, bucking and farting with her enormously long mane flying. She is utterly divine.
A very indulgent post from a very tired person (awaiting foal and just spent 7th night sleeping at stables).
