Just popped down to go outdoors to pick up a few things for my duke of ediburgh gold expedition in a couple of weeks time and also picked up a very commonly used equestrian product. Luckily my parents were with me so I could purchase the "weapon" as you had to be over 18. Would you all like to know what piece of equipment is such a danger? - A hoof pick!!

Yup, deadly serious, plastic sporks also cannot be purchased by anyone under the age of 18
The expedition is part of Gold Duke of Edinburgh. It is only a prep for the real thing so only 3 days walking, 2 days camping in the Brecon Beacons - should be fun! It'll be knackering and I've entered Lace for her first HT the weekend I come back ;)

He he! I would be interested to see how you could cause too much harm with a humble hoof pick!

The worst I have ever done with one was when a very wide youngster bum was backing in my direction. I poked her quarters with it in the hope she would move away from me and not squish me and the poor pony whose feet I was picking out. It worked in as much as she turned around to see what was prodding her bum and stopped walking backwards so I swiftly led her to the next tie ring so she wasn't in any danger of squishing anything!

But that is as much damage as I think your "weapon" could do?
