For those of you who read my other thread, I brought him.
He's a very nice chap.
And answers to some of the questions are
He was stabled last winter, and fine being left in on his own.
He wormed to due, though does need jabs doing.
Leads ok-ish, he's been out in a small herd all summer so had minimal leading, but head collar went on fine, lead away from the others, kept his cool when they started cantering (had to keep to the field). One kicked him and he did a buck and a leap but kept away from the owner and came straight back under control.
His passport is valid
Loads fab into a trailer,
A little tentative to pick up feet, but again hasn't had much going on over the summer, the same with rugs.
He's got pretty good conformation, my pics didn't come out put going to see him tomorrow so will take some more.
He's down by a very busy country lane, big tractors and lorries came by and he didn't finch at all.
He's very calm to touch head and ears, a bit difficult to do belly as the others babies kept on sticking there oar in but you could see he was trying (hand on a stick I think for a few days)
Saw him loose move, did a fab elevated trot. Canter was fairly balanced.
True back ground history is known as he was rescued from a breeder.
He's 3yrs, appy cross cob (they think) though he's true bay. He stands at 15.1 now so could make 15.2/3?
So overall I'm very happy, he's coming home in a few weeks, got permission to help myself to him so going to go up a make full of him, try and lead etc.
Thanks for help the other day
