I can feel a nightmare starting....

So I picked up my new 3 yr old yesterday, v.pleased with her and she travelled well and has settled beautifully. It now comes to light that I have been given a different mares passport. I contacted the dealer this morning to check if I had been given it in error but I was not having any joy with them answering. Eventually he answered and as soon as he heard it was me he cut me off!!!! Repeated this exercise 4 more times. I have now sent a text asking for it to be sorted amicably or I will have to seek legal advice - no response. I am waiting to hear back from DEFRA re a new passport for her but am now stuck with having NO history on her. She supposedly came from Germany 3 weeks ago and was branded etc but had never been handled so on viewing I couldnt see through her winter woolies to check the brand

Now I dont know where she came from!!!
Can anyone give me any advice on dealing with this dealer, i.e. fradulent sale or similar. Has anyone any experience of this? DEFRA seemed to think I could get a refund. Any help greatly appreciated. The plus side is I am very happy with her!!!!
