As title, really. I've got a few days to decide on the finish for my lorry and I've found a few decals I like - I just don't know which way to go.

Colour-wise I'm thinking of navy with silver decals (or possibly vice versa) or there's a beautiful light blue but I don't know what colour decals I would have - http://www.kevinparkerhorseboxesltd...box-ltd-metallic-paint-ladies-horsebox-sale-0 (colour shown).

I cant see any of the links :(. Personally i would go for fairly plain as it will make it easier to sell if you want to in the future.
Im a fan of a solid colour with some form of stripes or swishes, have a look here and play around and see what you like

Not keen on horse type pics on lorry's, would go with nice lettering in the front and back with simple decals on the sides.
Also go for a lighter colour, they show the scratches less. Ive gone from a silver to a black car and it is a nightmare to keep clean! :D
 
Yeah, I just realised that none of the pictures want to show themselves :mad:

I went onto lehel's website and fell in love with the black/grey/pink combo on the for sale page but I'm thinking that I've already spent £10k more than I had planned and it will probably be really expensive for that design: http://www.lehelcoachbuilders.com/details-id-99.html

I like that pale blue box with no decals on. I'm not keen on swooshes and stripes and pictures and zillions of colours.

If I was getting a paintjob ( I don't have a lorry you understand, this is hypothetical) I would have a plain dark blue one, or a plain dark green one. I am not very girly though!
 
I know where you're coming from - plain would probably be better if we were to sell it on.
There's too many colours to choose just one :o


I keep threatening Jerry with a pink lorry when he misbehaves :p
 
I don't know. Horsey girls seem to be quite into loud paint jobs. You aren't alone wanting it done so I doubt selling would be a huge problem whatever you choose :)

I love pink for at work etc but I don't have anything pink to do with the horses. There has to be a line drawn and that's where it is for me :D
 
I really like the colour of the blue box in your first post :)

Someone around here has the outline of a half passing horse in black and I think that it looks lovely. Other than something like that, I think that I would prefer something plainer than the ebay links, but it is your box, and therefore your choice, so choose what you like :)
 
Personally I'd steer clear of pink in case you need to sell in the future. That would limit your potential purchasers somewhat!

Other than that, assuming you are planning to keep it a good while I'd get whatever you like the most. Afterall you are the one who should enjoy it.

My friend has a cob (amongst others) and I bought her some decals with a picture of a cob with XXXX ridden by XXXX on and she was thrilled with them. They are silver on a burgundy lorry and do look good. Remember some can be removed if necessary!
 
I can see the pics now, dont really like any of them im afraid but im a bit of a plain jane at times. I really like that blue and would be tempted to have that as is but with horses on the front and back in a really nice font.
If it was mine i would have a base colour of silver with some Royal blue and black (thin) stripes of some discription i think. Would love to be able to choose all this sort of stuff but i really dont envy you as im rubbish at making decisions :D

lol, I know. Luckily my dad is in a rather good mood at the moment although it hasn't stretched to a lehel :p

so no picture decals - stripes it is. Now what colours??? :confused:

There all very smart! Id have either 3 or 6 but Id deffo keep the pink!!
 
i like the pink stripes too :D but i also love no.1 but then again, im a bit obsesed with red (any shade) so thats the only reason :)
